Let’s begin a happy journey. Registered NDIS provider · Australia wide support

Resources · Rights & Advocacy Respect. Safety. Choice. These are your rights, not extras.

Every person receiving NDIS support has rights protected by law under the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework. At Eternal Disability Care, we build our entire care model around them.

What are my rights as a participant?

  • Be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect
  • Make your own choices and decisions
  • Have a say in who supports you and how
  • Get support that is safe, high quality, and meets your goals
  • Be free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence
  • Complain or speak up without fear of being treated unfairly
  • Access information in a way you understand
  • Be supported to build independence and connect with your culture, community, and identity

How EDC supports your rights

  • Choice and control built into all care planning
  • Families, support coordinators, and advocates involved where appropriate
  • Participants introduced to their team and able to give feedback before services begin
  • Services delivered in a culturally respectful, trauma informed way
  • Regular updates and involvement in reviews
  • Qualified translators and accessible communication tools where needed

If something feels wrong, you can speak up

You can tell your support worker, house supervisor, or manager. Ask a trusted person to speak on your behalf. Contact an independent advocate or the NDIS Commission. Raise a concern anonymously if you prefer.

You won't be punished for making a complaint. You won't lose your support. You will be taken seriously.
